
The sizing of the PV wire for solar panels depends on the current rating of your solar panels. It is determined based on the electrical current generated by the panels.
When connecting a group of solar panels to a combiner box or grid-tied inverter, the recommended wire size is 6 m2 if the distance between the solar panels and the combiner box exceeds 80 meters.
However, if the inverter is installed directly beneath the solar panels, a 4 m2 wire is sufficient in this scenario.
